One of my favorite early memories is watching my father create the framework of the first home he built for our family.  This began my early interest in all things regarding family shelter. It lead to my desire to complete a college degree in Construction Engineering Technology at Montana State University, to be an independent business owner and to the create a successful real estate career. I love assisting sellers move to their next adventure in their life and helping buyers find that perfect shelter for their family.

BACKGROUND:

Sally Hickey received her real estate license in 1990 and has been as Sales Associate with ERA Landmark Real Estate since October 1991. Sally holds the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI) and Certified Internet Professional (e-PRO) designations. She specializes in residential real estate, new construction and vacant land sales.

EDUCATION:

Sally graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology. She continues her real estate education by attending numerous pertinent courses on a yearly continuing basis.

COMMUNITY SERVICE & PROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT:

Sally has served on committees with Gallatin County. She served as 2009 President for the Gallatin Association of Realtors®. Sally has been very active in the Southwest Montana Building Industry Association (SWMBIA) and the Montana Building Industry Association (MBIA). Sally has served at President of SWMBIA and was chairman for the MBIA Political Affairs Committee. She also chaired the Parade of Home for two years. Sally is a graduate of the Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Bozeman program. She is a member of the National, Montana and Gallatin Association of Realtors® and the Southwest Montana Multiple Listing Service.

PERSONAL:

A 2nd generation Montanan raised in Bozeman, Sally and her husband John, returned to Bozeman in 1991after living in Whitefish, Missoula and Ennis. Outside of work, Sally spends time with her family. Her son Aaron and daughter-in-law Karmen are currently serving in the US Navy. Her daughter, Colleen and her husband Grant, are professional ski racing coaches and splits their time between Park City, Utah and New Zealand. Sally’s favorite recreational activities include sailing her boat on Canyon Ferry Lake, reading lots of books, quilting and she loves to cook.
